Some of you will probably remember my asking for your input about what's important to you in making your Practice/business more successful. Thank you to all who responded to our survey and contributed to giving a better understanding of the cake you like to eat most.
Our survey contained 10 simple questions about what's important to you relating to business and marketing skills required for a successful business. Your responses (detailed below) gave important information on how to modify our offerings to better help you achieve your best.
100% of respondents stated they believe marketing and business skills are essential for business success but only 20% considered they had these skills. When asked where they would go to seek such skills, 60% stated the internet, 20% stated private business consultants and 20% their modality associations.
When asked about training methods, 60% indicated a preference for workshops, 20% for DVD's and 20% for one on one tuition. Interestingly, every respondent indicated a desire to learn about marketing, advertising or promotion, 80% requested success strategies and 60% requested help with business planning.
When asked how much you are willing to pay to get this information/training, the consensus was a willingness to pay $76-100 per hour for one on one coaching (80%), $50 or less for an evening seminar (60%) and $101 - 150 (40%), $151-200 (20%) and over $200 (20%) for a one day workshop or seminar which included a workbook, lunch and refreshments.
When asked the final question about how likely respondents were to seek such training and advice, 80% said they would.
As a result of these findings, we've spent the last few weeks looking at our offerings and how we can make them better fit your requirements.
